Frequently
asked questions
The winning ticket will be drawn at Troy Old Timers Day
on July 10. Do I need to be there?
You do not need to be present to win. We will notify the winner.
Whats
the first thing I should do if I win the Troy Lions Club Custom Rifle
Raffle?
Contact the gunsmith to confirm your eligibility to possess and receive
a firearm. The winner must submit to a background check as required by
state and federal law to demonstrate eligibility.
What happens if Im the winner and I dont meet eligibility
requirements under state and federal law?
You will forfeit your winners status and your ticket purchase price
will be refunded. It is the responsibility of the contestant to determine
if they are eligible to possess and receive a firearm prior to purchasing
tickets. The Troy Lions will draw another ticket to determine a new potential
winner.
Why cant I transfer my winning ticket to someone else?
To remain fully compliant with state and federal firearm laws, the winning
ticket may not be transferred to someone else. Only the person named on
the ticket is eligible to win.
My eligibility to possess and receive a firearm has been established.
Now what?
You will complete an order with the gunsmith detailing the specifications
for your custom rifle. The gunsmith will order the components you have
specified and assemble your custom rifle when the parts have been received.
How long will it take to build my custom rifle?
Lead time depends on availability from the manufacturer of your custom
selections. We anticipate a 30 to 90 day period from the time you specify
your custom rifle to the time its delivered to you. Of course, this
again all depends on availability from the manufacturer, which is outside
of our control.
What is included with my custom rifle?
The standard components offered in the catalog
of options. They will be assembled, tested, and adjusted as necessary
to ensure you receive a safe, high-quality, custom rifle.
Whats NOT included with my custom rifle?
Accessories, scope rings, optics, slings, swivels, custom accurizing,
stock and barrel bedding, and barrel porting are not included. Action
or trigger work beyond checking for safe and proper operation is not included
with the custom rifle.
But what if I want those things on my custom rifle?
The gunsmith can perform optional work on your custom rifle for additional
charge.
